Where is your favourite beach?
My favourite beach is Pansea beach in Phuket, Thailand. It is picture postcard in every way and has two fantastic hotels-the Surin and the Amanpuri. It will always be particularly special to me as my husband and I got married there!
What's your idea of the perfect holiday?
I am very lucky as I travel a lot. My perfect holiday would be with family and somewhere new. We love to go to new places where we can explore. That is not always easy with a toddler but we try.
Where was your first family holiday with your kids?
My first holiday was to Porto Sani in Greece when Amalia was 6 months old. It is a great kid friendly resort but I just got back from Martinhal last week and it was even better for kids-they had thought of everything! My husband said it was the best holiday he had since Amalia was born and he is hard to please.
How do you keep looking chic on holiday?
When you have children, I think the answer is to keep it simple and use your accessories cleverly. The right necklace can make a simple beach dress perfect for dinner. Also, I always wear swimwear or cover ups that suit my body shape no matter what the trends are.
What are your top tips for surviving a long haul flight with your kids?
The only way to survive a long haul flight with children is to be prepared! You have to think of everything-take spare clothes, favourite toys, games, snacks and and Ipad.
What do you always have in your hand luggage?
As little as possible but I always have lip balm-my current favourite is By Terry Or de Rose
What did you read on your last holiday?
The Light Between the Oceans-ML Stedman
How do you keep the kids entertained on the beach when you want to sunbathe?
I don't sunbathe. Although my mother is Brazilian, I am very fair and generally avoid sitting in the direct sun. I do like to read under an umbrella and normally Amalia will occupy herself with her bucket and spade. I am also quite lucky that my husband is great at entertaining her too.
What are your beach bag must haves?
My Kindle, high factor sun lotion, hair conditioner, a sarong and of course a spare dry bikini to change into.
