1. Puglia, Italy

Meanwhile, the Paleontology Museum in northern Puglia is a must-see for any dinosaur-obsessed kids.

Brittany is a stunning region of France. Known for its mystical history (and as the birthplace of crepes!), Brittany is another of the best European family holiday destinations. Explore the incredible coastline and castles, learning about the legends behind some of France’s most incredible monuments.

There are plenty of fantastic parks, beaches, and hiking spots around Dubrovnik. Mount Srđ is popular with families, as it’s not too high — but if little legs aren’t up to too much walking, take the cable car to the top of the hill and get gorgeous panoramic views.
