THE BRITISH SKIN FOUNDATION VALIDATE SUNUVA'S UPF50+ SWIMWEAR
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the British Skin Foundation, the UK's leading researcher of skin diseases has validated Sunuva's UPF 50+ swimwear collection. Made from Italian fabric which blocks out more than 97% of the sun's harmful rays, Sunuva swimwear is designed to keep your children safe in the sun, whilst looking stylish!
Skin cancer is caused by overexposure to the ultraviolet light in the sun. Recent studies have revealed that sun exposure, especially during the first 18 years of life, can increase the risk of skin cancer as the skin of a child is more sensitive to sun damage. More than two young adults (aged 15-34) are diagnosed with malignant melanoma every day in the UK. Therefore, Sunuva and the British Skin Foundation will work together to raise awareness about the importance of keeping children protected in the sun.
To support the valuable research of the British Skin Foundation, Sunuva will also donate 10% of profit on selected prints, and give customers the opportunity to donate at checkout via our online store (www.sunuva.com).
